1. What VectorBid is — and isn't
VectorBid is decision support for airline pilots bidding under PBS. It shows evidence about past awards and drafts PBS 2.0 bid layers for you to review. It is not a guarantee of any route assignment or bid award. What you are awarded depends on your seniority, the month's package, and everyone else's bids. Every number on this site names the evidence behind it (for example, "July 2025 IAH 737 award") — and evidence about the past is never a prediction of your future award.
2. Your bid stays yours
You verify every layer in PBS before you submit it, and you assume all risk of using VectorBid — including improper, untimely, or mistaken use. VectorBid never submits anything on your behalf, so submitting the right bid, on time, in the airline's system is entirely your responsibility. You are also responsible for making sure your use of VectorBid complies with your employer's rules, contracts, and policies.
3. Not affiliated
VectorBid is not associated or affiliated with, supported by, or endorsed by United Airlines, ALPA, or any other airline or union.
4. Your documents, your authorization
VectorBid runs only on documents its users supply. When uploads open (around October 2026 — see uploads), no file is accepted until you affirmatively confirm: "I confirm I am authorized to access this document, and I accept responsibility for ensuring my use of it complies with my airline's policies and my employment agreement." Your confirmation is recorded with a timestamp. Raw uploads stay private to the uploader; only aggregate statistics are ever shared across users.
5. What we never do
- No airline credentials. VectorBid never asks for or accepts your airline or union logins — not for CCS, not for PBS, not for anything.
- No scraping. VectorBid never connects to or pulls data from airline systems. Everything here comes from user-supplied documents.
- No auto-submission. VectorBid writes bid-layer text for you to read and verify; you paste it into PBS yourself. Nothing is ever submitted for you.
6. Pilot identity
Award files name pilots. VectorBid drops names when it parses a file and stores employee numbers only as salted hashes — the stored data cannot be read back to a name or employee number. Pages show aggregate seniority evidence, never individual pilots. Your own inputs on this site (seniority, bid preferences) live in cookies on your device; in demo mode there are no accounts and no server-side profiles.
7. Fees and liability
Demo mode is free. If VectorBid is ever liable to you for anything, that liability is capped at the fees you paid VectorBid in the twelve months before the claim — today, $0. VectorBid is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost income or scheduling outcomes.
8. Changes
These terms will evolve as VectorBid does; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Questions and corrections are welcome.
